From 16 to 18 October, the Gambito Golf Club Calatayud course will once again host a top-level event with the Iberdrola Calatayud Ladies Open, a professional women’s tournament that forms part of the European LET Access Series promotional circuit.
This is the final event of the 2025 season, guaranteeing maximum excitement: it will be the last chance to earn points in the LETAS ranking and secure one of the seven full cards to compete in the Ladies European Tour in 2026.
Calatayud, a leading sports and tourist destination
The LET Access Series is the development circuit for women’s golf in Europe, played between April and October in different countries. It acts as a prelude to the Ladies European Tour, providing access to the highest level of professional women’s golf.
This will be the fourth consecutive year that the Bilbilitano course has hosted the tournament, consolidating its position as a benchmark in the organisation of international events. The event stands out not only for its sporting level, but also for its role in promoting tourism and culture in Calatayud and the province of Zaragoza.
International level in the field
A total of 108 professional players from different countries will take part in this edition. Among the Spanish players are prestigious names such as Amaia Latorre, winner of this year’s Ahlsell Trophy (Sweden), as well as María Herráez, Clara Moyano and María Parra.
The international line-up will be led by England’s Gemma Clews and Austria’s Katharina Muehlbauer, currently ranked 1st and 3rd in the Order of Merit, alongside England’s Charlotte Heath, rookie of the year, who are sure to put on a show in Calatayud.

With a renovated course and state-of-the-art facilities, Gambito Golf Club Calatayud continues to work towards consolidating both the city and the province as destinations of sporting excellence, attracting international tournaments that reinforce the profile of golf in Aragon.

The Iberdrola Calatayud Ladies Open is organised by Gambito Golf and supported by Calatayud City Council, the Government of Aragon, Tourism of Aragon and the Calatayud Region, which are among the official sponsors.
